MAKE-UP TIPS FOR ADULTS

As the body ages, so does the skin. While teenagers and young women
are advised not to use foundation, it is essential that older women
invest time and money in a good foundation in order to preserve a
youthful skin texture and delay the onset of wrinkles.
Another make-up routine that changes with age is the application of
eye make-up. As they age, many women’s eye lashes lose their natural
fullness. As a result, some women opt to either increase the amount of
mascara that they use or change the type of mascara from a standard
formula to one that offers more fullness. Others choose to use more eye
liner at the lash lines.
Skin care
routines
must change with age as well. While the standard routine, cleanser,
toner or astringent and mask remain part of the regimen, additional
nighttime moisturizers to help prevent wrinkles, eye creams to tighten
skin around the eyes and prevent crows’ feet as well as collagen creams
to preserve elasticity in the skin are all added to the arsenal.
It is not impossible for a woman in her 50s or 60s to have smooth,
clear skin; however, achieving this is not nearly as simple for a 47
year old as it is for a 17 year old. Foundation, night cream, eye cream
and collagen all help keep skin young, supple and radiant. |
