MAKE UP PERSONALITY
You can tell a lot about a woman’s make up and the way she wears it.
The make up she wears is an open window to her personality. While this
is, of course, a generalization because most women wear different make
up for different occasions; but, it is a pretty safe bet that the make
up she feels most comfortable in is good representative of her
personality.
Make up personality types can usually be categorized in the following
groups:
 Classic
– Her make up brings a sense of class to any occasion. Her best
looks are in a work suit or dressed for a formal function. Although
distinctive her make up should is never overpowering. She uses dark
lines to create a dramatic look emphasizing her eyes and lips. She
avoids pastel colors and lip gloss.
- Subtle – She only uses make up to compliment her natural
beauty, not to cover it up. A little bit of powder, a touch of
mascara and a natural shade of lipstick is all she needs. Earth
browns and cocoas are her make up shades of choice.
- Vibrant – Not only does her make up make her look
sensational, it gives her confidence that she might not otherwise
have. She likes to create a sense of drama with heavy eye liners and
mascara and strong lipstick.
- Natural – She likes the natural look but she prefers to
create it rather than rely on Mother Nature. Pastel pinks and
peaches are her preferred colors to create that soft, subtle look.
She stays away from hard lines and strong colors should and applies
her mascara very lightly.
Regardless of your make up personality type, the key is to be
comfortable with your appearance and at all times, happy with
yourself and the way you look. |
