MAKE-UP ON THE GO

In this day and age, it is nearly impossible to think of doing
everything at a leisurely pace. That includes looking beautiful. More
and more women are not only in the workforce, but in the board room as
well. This by no means is an indication that women have or ever will
abandon their looks. Although the notion is not necessarily politically
correct, it is even more important that women maintain a standard of
physical beauty while climbing the corporate ladder. Women who are on
the go must make extra effort to make sure that their make-up is
impeccable at all times – from the time they first emerge from the house
until they go home for the evening. Many times, this means that their
workday is ten hours or more. While on the go, women must make sure
that their purses are packed with certain bare essentials to guarantee
that their faces are morning fresh throughout the day. Those it ems
include lipstick, blush, eyeliner and mascara. It also helps to have an
eye shadow palette with at least eight complimentary eye shadow color
choices tucked away in the desk drawer to add the perfect finish to a
mid-day make-up touch up. Of course, a mirror is also a good accessory
for any busy woman’s office. Her mirror can be hidden in her drawer or a
decorative accent hanging prominently on the wall among her diplomas,
certificates, awards and honors. With this beauty arsenal, it is a
piece of cake for the working woman to be stunningly beautiful and
efficient at the same time, all the while knocking them dead with the
one two punch of her savvy business acumen and her ever fresh make-up.
But, the office isn’t the only place to find women on the go. Teachers,
women who work in sales, women who find themselves running from one
meeting to the next or women who balance careers with motherhood and
other family obligations are constantly on the go as well. The good news
is that all of the essential makeup items for women on the go are
portable and easily packed in purses and cosmetic bags. Freshening up
one’s make-up while driving is at least as dangerous as texting while
driving, but it only takes a few seconds to make quick repairs to your
make-up in the parking lot before emerging from your car, fresh faced
and ready for the next challenge. |
